If you thought the Tight Squeeze layout couldn’t get any tighter, last night’s Thursday Clubbing at Wolfram RC Raceway proved otherwise. The compact course packed 13 drivers and 17 entries into four classes for a total of 1,301 laps of pure, wheel-to-wheel excitement. No cautions, no drama—just clean, competitive RC action that had everyone grinning from ear to ear (and maybe sweating a little under the lights).

The night kicked off with a flawless driver’s meeting, and a huge shoutout goes to Jason E for stepping up and keeping the energy high while running through the rules, track tips, and that classic “keep it fun, keep it fair” vibe. Thanks, Jason—you set the tone for an awesome evening!

From box-stock minis to full-blown GT machines, here’s how the A-Mains shook out:

Box Stock Mini-Z: Jason Takes the Checkered
Five drivers battled for five minutes, and JASON (car #2) simply owned the track. He racked up 37 laps to take the win, posting a blistering best lap of 7.090 on lap 16. CHRIS S came roaring back with the outright fastest single lap of the race (6.927!), but it wasn’t enough to overcome the lap deficit—finishing second with 35 laps. JASON EUCHNER rounded out the podium in third. Brian and Larry Quick rounded out the field with solid runs despite the ultra-technical layout.

Lipo Stock (2500): Bradford vs. Tuel – A One-Lap Thriller
This one was chef’s kiss. DAVID BRADFORD grabbed the win with 47 laps, but JAKE TUEL was right there breathing down his neck the entire time—46 laps and the fastest lap of the entire main at 5.722 on lap 34. The two traded paint (figuratively, of course) for nearly the full five minutes. CHRIS S hung tough in third.

Mini-Z Novice: Ned Lewis Runs Away With It
The beginners brought the smiles. NED LEWIS dominated with 22 laps in the shortened 4-minute main, looking smooth as silk. SCONZO, Mike DeStafano, and Oscar SCONZO all improved lap after lap, while Sean Thompson unfortunately posted a DNF. Big props to everyone in Novice for hitting the track and learning the ropes—next time those lap times are gonna drop like crazy.

3500 GT (Lipo) – The Big Boys Close the Night
The fastest class saved the best for last. JIM HIATT was on absolute rails, posting 49 laps and the quickest lap of the night (5.482). David Bradford again showed why he’s a front-runner with 45 laps in second, while JAKE TUEL charged hard for third with 43 laps and a 5.604 best. These three turned the final main into a masterclass in consistency and speed.

Overall Night MVP vibes: Jake Tuel with back-to-back podiums and that ridiculous 5.722 flyer in Lipo Stock—seriously, the guy was flying! David Bradford and Jim Hiatt also had monster nights, but the real winner was the entire room. Zero incidents, tons of laughs, and a track that rewarded precision over brute force.

If you missed it, you missed pure RC joy. Full lap charts, videos, and bonus-lap replays are waiting on the LiveRC dashboard for members. Next Thursday Clubbing is already on the calendar—don’t sleep on it!
