Wolfram RC Raceway, Home of RC Fun – February 12, 2026 – Wow, what a night! Last night’s Thursday Clubbing event at Wolfram RC Raceway turned the “Tight Squeeze” track into a fun zone of fast cars and friendly competition. With 31 entries from 18 drivers adding up to 2,427 laps, this club event was full of energy and good times. From quick lipo classes to easy novice runs, it was a great evening for everyone. Let’s jump into the highlights!
3500 Gt (Lipo): Bradford Takes the Win
In the 3500 Gt class, David Bradford had a strong showing. He started second in the A-Main after a good Q2 (41 laps in 5:01.726) and finished first with 42 laps in 5:02.194. The group behind was close: Jim Hiatt / Matt Rodgers second (39 laps, 5:00.770), Brian Godwin third (39 laps, 5:01.867), and Junior fourth (39 laps, 5:03.391). Jake Tuel finished fifth (34 laps, 5:07.120) after a solid effort. It was fun to see the close racing!
Box Stock Mini-Z: Benson Wins the Busy Field
Box Stock Mini-Z had 9 drivers in a lively 5-minute main. Chris S qualified first with 26 laps in Q2, but Kurt Benson took the win with 32 laps in 5:03.872. Chris S came second (31 laps, 5:06.577), and Jason Euchner third (28 laps, 5:11.065). Jason was fourth (27 laps), Jairo Rodriguez fifth (25 laps), and Zach Fauble sixth (22 laps). Brian Walters and Chris R both did 18 laps, with Walters seventh and Chris R eighth. Anthony Rodriguez DNF’d after one lap, This class kept things exciting with lots of action.
Lipo Stock (2500): Benson Gets Another Victory
Kurt Benson won again in Lipo Stock, finishing with 38 laps in 5:02.998 in a field of seven. Brian Godwin was second (38 laps, 5:05.291) and Jake Tuel third (38 laps, 5:06.937). Junior fourth (36 laps), Chris S fifth (35 laps), Jason sixth (29 laps), and Jared Prather seventh (17 laps). The top three being so close made it a highlight.
AAA Sportsman: Bradford Wins Two Classes
David Bradford won his second class in Nimh Open, with 36 laps in 5:01.193. Jason Euchner took second (31 laps, 5:08.029). Chris S was third with 27 laps but DNF’d (3:54.409), Jairo Rodriguez fourth (27 laps, 5:02.973), Jared Prather fifth (26 laps), Brian Walters sixth (16 laps), and Brian Godwin seventh with a DNF after 7 laps. It was interesting to see the mix of finishes.
Novice: Simmons Comes Out on Top
In the small Novice class, Milo Simmons won with 18 laps in 5:11.673, and Shawna took second (15 laps, 5:19.527). A nice, straightforward race for the beginners.

What an incredible lineup of talent! From David Bradford and Kurt Benson powering through with double wins each, to Jake Tuel’s impressive podium in Lipo Stock and strong showing in 3500 Gt, everyone brought their A-game. Shoutouts to Brian Godwin and Chris S for their consistent efforts across multiple classes, Junior’s close battles, Jason Euchner’s solid runs, and all the drivers like Jairo Rodriguez, Zach Fauble, Jared Prather, and the novices Milo Simmons and Shawna who kept the energy high no matter the finish. Even those with DNFs added to the thrill—racing’s all about the comeback!
